Server Readiness (Pre-Checks)

The Automations engine home page runs a set of readiness checks when it starts. Each check confirms that a dependency some tasks rely on — CAD software, runtimes, hardware — is installed and configured correctly on the server. Use this screen to confirm a server is ready before building workflows that depend on these tools.

Reading the results

Each check shows a badge:

BadgeMeaning
PassedThe dependency is installed and ready.
WarningUsable, but with a concern worth reviewing (for example, low memory or disk space).
FailedThe dependency is missing or misconfigured. Tasks that rely on it will not run until this is resolved.
Coming SoonThe integration is still in development; nothing to configure yet.

Where a check has a dedicated guide, a Setup & troubleshooting link appears on the card. The detail line under each check explains what was found (for example, the path of the application it located).

Dedicated setup guides

  • Hardware Readiness — what the check measures, the calculation behind the recommended parallel-task count, and recommended specifications.
  • AutoCAD / DWG Export — supported DWG TrueView version, setup, and troubleshooting for the AutoCAD / DWG Export check.
  • Autodesk Vault — supported Vault client versions, licensing, and connection troubleshooting.
  • Inventor Export — how Inventor export is provided through the Vault client, supported versions, and the one-at-a-time (serialised) behaviour.
  • Bentley View — the supported Bentley View 2026 version, setup for automation, and troubleshooting for the Bentley View / DGN Export check.
  • Chromium — how the headless Chromium browser for Browser Task and Document Composer downloads on first use, and how to set it up on servers without internet access. In the meantime, see the System Requirements and Installation Guide.
