MinuteView Platform Overview

Overview

MinuteView is the central hub of the MinuteView platform. It is the primary access point for every user, every module, and every tool across the entire ecosystem. Whether you are reviewing documents, searching your project data, configuring automation workflows, or managing your team's access — everything begins and ends in MinuteView.

All users, regardless of their role, log in to MinuteView to access the platform. Administrators use it to configure and control the tools available to their organisation. End users use it to carry out their day-to-day work across modules like Capture, Mesh, and Configurator.

MinuteView is also the configuration point for connected tools such as Automations, Minute Creator, and Minute Controller. Any tool that operates within the MinuteView ecosystem draws its configuration, its user permissions, and its credentials from MinuteView — there is no separate administration interface to learn for each tool.

Two Types of Users

MinuteView is designed to serve two distinct audiences within your organisation:

Administrators

Administrators have elevated permissions that allow them to configure the platform on behalf of the broader business. This includes setting up integrations with third-party systems, creating Capture templates, configuring Mesh data sources, managing user accounts and roles, and controlling which features are available to which teams.

Administrators work primarily in the Console to manage platform-wide settings, and within each module's configuration screens to prepare tools for end users.

End Users

End users interact with the outputs of that configuration. They log in to MinuteView and use the tools that have been set up for them — reviewing captures in their inbox, searching project data through Mesh, or generating project configurations through Configurator. They do not need to understand how the platform is configured; they simply use it.

What's Inside MinuteView

MinuteView is organised into a set of modules, each serving a distinct purpose. All modules share the same login, the same user management, and the same permission model.

Console

The Console is the administrative backbone of MinuteView. It is where platform-wide settings are managed — user accounts, roles, service account credentials, third-party integrations, and licensing. If something needs to be configured once for the whole organisation, it is configured in the Console.

Capture

Minute Capture is MinuteView's structured review and approval system. It allows engineering teams to manage document reviews, drawing approvals, transmittals, and change requests with a full audit trail and built-in markup tools. Capture introduces a deliberate human decision point into workflows — ensuring that critical sign-offs are always traceable and controlled.

Mesh

Minute Mesh is MinuteView's unified search and insight engine. It crawls and indexes content from across your connected data sources — SharePoint, Autodesk ACC, Monday.com, Zendesk, and more — and makes it searchable from a single interface. Mesh also powers AI-assisted search, allowing users to ask natural language questions and surface relevant project data instantly.

Configurator

Minute Configurator is a project configuration tool that enables teams to manage project setup, web controls, and iteration management from within MinuteView. It provides a structured way to configure and track project information without needing direct database or system access.

Insights

Minute Insights provides visibility into platform activity and health. It surfaces information about job processing, automation activity, and platform usage through configurable dashboards — giving administrators a clear picture of how MinuteView is being used across the business.

Connected Tools

MinuteView Server is also the configuration and authentication point for tools that operate outside the browser — including the Automations engine, Minute Creator, and Minute Controller. These tools connect back to MinuteView for their settings, their user permissions, and their job data. You do not manage them separately; they are extensions of the same platform.
